Ways to Keep Your Independency Yet Still Maintain a Healthy & Strong Relationship.
As people in everyday life no one has the time or effort to souley focus all their attention on one person at all times during the day, so why do some people feel the need to try? You as a person should have goals everyday, think of it this way before you meet your partner you were doing everything on your own and life was well before you met them, now they are there to help support you and help you out when you need it. No one is in a relationship to get yelled at and have to worry every day all day, its tiring and people will get burnt out quickly. So keep these little tips’ in mind the next time you start to feel clingy or if you are ever told you are being to clingy.
1. Keep yourself busy. If your busy you don’t have time to worry about what your partner is doing. This way your mind doesn’t have time to make up scenarios that aren’t realistic.
2. Don’t try talking to them so much lay off texting or calling the person when you have free time. You eventually run out of things to say and become worried when they don’t respond right away or answer your call. It’s not worth the worry.
3. Trust your partner. If there is no trust there is no relationship worth being in. You and your partner ended up together because of how independent you were when you first started talking.
4. Last but not least always communicate. Communication is key in any relationship if something is worrying you or bothering you act like adults and talk about how its making you as a person feel and ask how you want to handle it together. This way there is no worrying and both partners are on the same page with feelings.
